American Health Savings Plan offers its members 25% to 60% discounts on eyeglasses, contact lenses, (excluding disposables), non prescription sunglasses and other retail eyewear items through a network of over 12,000 eye care professionals nationwide. In addition, members can save 10% to 30% on eye examinations and surgical procedures, including LASIK, where available. Most frames, lenses, specialty items such as tints, scratch resistant coatings and ultraviolet protection are available.
How to use your American Health Services Plan Vision Plan:
- Select a participating optical location from the provider list or call the toll free number.
- When visiting the optical location be sure to present your American Health Savings Plan membership card which will identify you as a valid American Health Savings Plan member.
- Select the eyewear and lenses of your choice. Almost any frame, lenses, color, size, plus add–ons such as ultraviolet protection, scratch coating, and tints are available.
- Ask for your warranty number. Without the warranty number your 30 day unconditional guarantee is not valid.
- Remember, there is no limit on the amount of eyewear you save on with this program, and your immediate family is covered under your American Health Savings Plan membership.
Most frames, lenses, specialty items such as tints, scratch resistant coatings, and ultraviolet protection are available. There is no limit on the number of times you and your immediate family may use the membership during the year. Simply present your American Health Savings Plan membership card at any participating optical location and you will automatically be charged the discounted prices. Discounts on eye exams are available in many areas.
